Imagine being the heartbeat of the messages that reach millions of users every day. You won't just be managing tasks; you'll be the essential link between bold business strategies and technical execution. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our client's global subscribers receive the right message at the right time. If you thrive in high-stakes environments and love bringing order to complex, large-scale operations, this is where you belong.

  • Location: Hybrid; Culver City or Cupertino, CA
  • Schedule: In-Office T/W/Th; Remote M/F
  • Pay Comments: W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match
  • Background screening required

The Team: This team focuses on the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns for our client's premier services. They are the engine that drives customer acquisition and engagement through email, push notifications, in-app sheets, and banners. We are looking for a process-oriented Project Manager who thrives in high-volume environments and enjoys bringing order to complex, technical workflows.

Role Summary: This is not a traditional creative agency role. You will act as the "first line of defense" for marketing intake, partnering with business and strategy teams to translate requirements into actionable technical campaigns. You will manage the health of the line of business by ensuring resource availability, setting work-back schedules, and facilitating the movement of 100+ campaigns concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intake & Audit: Lead the monthly and ad-hoc intake process for multiple lines of business. Audit briefs for completeness and technical feasibility before they reach the operations team.
  • High-Volume Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of 100+ marketing campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely execution across email, push, and in-app channels.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Report on the "plan of record" for capacity allocation. Identify resourcing gaps and negotiate prioritization when volume exceeds bandwidth.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary connector between strategy teams and technical operations, as well as external-to-PMO partners like Localization and Design.
  • Schedule Evolution: Develop and maintain rigorous work-back schedules. Proactively rework schedules and shift resources when scope changes or "chaos" arises mid-lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Identify breakdowns in current workflows and lead change management efforts to evolve and document more efficient processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of project management experience, specifically within Marketing Operations, MarTech, or a high-volume Agency environment
  • Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of CRM/Lifecycle marketing (email, push, mobile). While you won't be building the campaigns, you must understand system integrations and technical targeting
  • High-Volume Proficiency: Proven ability to remain organized while managing a massive volume of requests without losing attention to detail
  • Communication & Negotiation: Ability to have "hard conversations" with stakeholders when briefs are incomplete or deadlines are unrealistic
  • Tooling: Experience with enterprise project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira, or proprietary CMS/workflow tools)
  • Mindset: A curious, solutions-focused approach. You should be someone who "thrives in chaos but lives to organize."

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

*** Please note this is a hybrid role in either Culver City or Cupertino, CA. You must be local to one of these locations and able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).***
