This position supports the Department of Psychiatry by coordinating regulatory applications, documentation, and communications required to maintain compliance with federal agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The role is responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory forms, drafting and revising correspondence in response to agency inquiries, and facilitating documentation related to study modifications, investigational drug sources, and regulatory requirements. The incumbent ensures all materials are accurate, complete, and routed for appropriate review and approval, supporting the department's clinical and research activities while maintaining adherence to federal regulations and institutional policies.

| Duties & Responsibilities |
Regulatory Compliance and Federal Agency Coordination:
- Facilitate departmental applications, communications, and ongoing compliance with federal regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
- Prepare, complete, and submit required regulatory forms and documentation to ensure adherence to federal requirements and institutional policies.
Regulatory Documentation and Correspondence
- Draft, review, and revise regulatory correspondence, including responses to agency inquiries and submissions related to study modifications, drug sourcing, analytics, and institutional regulatory changes.
- Route regulatory documents for appropriate review, signature, and countersignature to ensure timely and compliant submission.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

| Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
