Human Resources Function Specialist, Senior

The Opportunity:

Apply extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge in the Human Resources function to provide Human Resources operational support to leaders, managers, and employees across the company. Coach and advise on complex, time-sensitive issues in performance and behavior management, disciplinary actions, employee departures, policy interpretation, conflict of interest and risk mitigation. Partner with other teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems and provide exceptional service to our customers. Leverage critical thinking to focus on continuous improvement and solutions to drive efficiencies and scalability of the HR function. This position is located in the Washington D.C Metro Area. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources business partner roles

  • Experience with advising on the content of organizational policies and HR programs and processes

  • Experience with guiding leaders on performance and behavior issues to include administration and facilitation of performance improvement plans

  • Experience with providing best in class service delivery to internal customers

  • Experience with managing sensitive, critical employee situations and assessing risk in large organizations

  • Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment

  • Ability to contribute to projects and support organizational change initiatives to create impact and improve customer experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources and 3+ years of experience with employee relations, or 7+ years of experience with employee relations in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Workday HRIS

  • Experience with technology or AI solutions related to HR

  • Experience working in the technology or government services industry

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

  • Possession of excellent analytical, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
