THOR Solutionsis activelyseekinga highly motivatedSharePoint/Data ManagementSpecialistto supporttheUnited States Coast Guard (USCG)Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Resident Inspection Office (RIO) inMobile, AL.

This position is associated with an upcoming contract that THOR is pursuing. We are conducting preliminary, "contingent"hiring forroles associated with this contract. The work start is dependent upon THOR being awarded this contract.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Support SharePoint development of local OPC SharePoint tools, software support and upgrades such asdash boards, workflows, data maintenance, dataorganization.
  • Develop SharePoint workflows to support USCG contract management, team activities, dashboards for user quick view status, and mature SharePoint sites to improve document management, repository, and search/referencing functions.
  • Research and data mine in and out of SharePoint as directed to retrieve data/status and develop/provide metrics asrequired.
  • Support management of an electronic database by organizing andmaintainingconfiguration of a complete electronic set of current and historical program documents in a SharePoint environment.
  • Initiate,expedite, and close out process workflows related to document creation, indexing, review, delivery, and approval.
  • Create standardized reports and presentation graphs onstatusof the workflows themselves and process metrics on usage of the workflow capability.
  • Present SharePoint systems status and user requirements as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Using the SharePoint systems, store andmaintainversion-controlled data products that are processed through workflows.
  • Monitor data management repositories and communicate documentation to relevant USCG staff members as directed by the government.
  • Screen documents for proper marking of distribution and data rights. Review contractor-submitted Data Accession List(s) and provide recommendations to theGovernmentlead.
  • Provide support with organization, tracking,maintenanceand validation of spreadsheets that providesthe historicalresponses and decisions made in managing the design of the OPC.
  • Provide data,inputand editing to routine reports.
  • Track and support reporting on program documentation to include memoranda, routine MSAMdocumentationand decisional documents.Maintaina repositoryestablishedon the Government-provided SharePoint site.
  • Provide data for andassistin the preparation of lessons learned reports and briefs.
  • Develop a process and associated plan for the maintenance of existing Government reports, trackers, and documents for the creation, incorporation, and maintenance of new reports, trackers, and documents.

Location:Primarily onsite at USCG Shipyard Facility inMobile, AL.

Travel:Up to 10%travelisanticipated.

Typical Physical Requirements:Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. Mayinvolverepetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.

Eligibility for a SECRET Security Clearance is Required: This position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance, to be obtained afterhire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.

RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least four (4)yearsofrecent, relevantexperiencein the infrastructure and web-baseddevelopment and administration of SharePoint systems and tools.
  • Experiencewith Performance Metrics, Analysis, and Trending.
  • Proficient withMicrosoftPowerBI,the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook, as well as other software/tools provided on the Coast Guard Standard Workstation.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
