Web Business Analyst III

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborate with developers, Project managers, quality assurance, business teams and technical support to provide a mix of business and technical direction on systems, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Meet with Company Executives to learn strategy, tactical approaches, priorities, requirements, and business process.
• Document business requirements, may develop and oversee project plans, oversee and coordinate the development of technical specifications, and help enforce change control procedures.
• Must take initiative to spend time with all levels of users (formal meetings, informal meetings, observing work, etc.)
• May develop and maintain project schedules with appropriate input, including all necessary activities and dependencies.
• Establish open, fluid and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders and the project team. This could include all levels of participants from Company Executives to individual contributors.
• Develop and maintain all Project Documentation for all assigned projects.
• Must be seen as an advocate for the customers/users
• Expected to develop and maintain a strong Mouser business acumen and use it with each assignment.
• Ensures an increased level of code reuse and contributes to the growth and use of the knowledge library.
• Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment.
• Represents the company and Internet Business in a professional manner
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Team player/leader.
• Expected to utilize organizational skills to document, categorize, prioritize, provide easy access to information, ask questions, follow up, and maintain communications.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle and problem solving.
• Ability to produce rich documentation including screen mockups, flowcharts and other process diagrams.

• PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Project, Outlook and other software.
• Able to use, read, analyze and interpret spreadsheets and printed reports
• Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Available to work early, late and weekends when needed to fulfill assigned responsibilities
• Experience with Mockup creation and prototyping using HTML is preferred

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience

Web Business Analyst II

• Subject matter/platform knowledge and expertise over established program value area within the Mouser enterprise
• Demonstrated extensive Mouser business acumen
• Leadership skills in driving successful delivery of projects and initiatives
• Established skills and experience with documenting business needs, user requirements and agile feature acceptance criteria

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, program analyst or equivalent position required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
• 2+ years of experience with ecommerce environments (B2B preferred) required.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle.
• Proven experience with problem solving and solution development.
• Ability to partner with agile release train/scrum teams to deliver solutions.
• Proven experience in producing documentation including, requirements documents, flowcharts, wireframes, and other process diagrams.

Web Business Analyst III

• Deep subject matter/platform expertise over established program value area within the Mouser enterprise
• Proven success in exploring stakeholder/market needs, segmentation, sizing, and competitive landscape to achieve desirable, feasible, and sustainable outcomes.
• Expert leadership skills in driving successful delivery of projects and initiatives
• Established skills and experience with documenting business needs, user requirements and agile feature acceptance criteria
• Mentor peers in learning and building proficiency in Mouser, Internet Business, and stakeholder analysis and communication skills

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, program analyst, product manager or equivalent position required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
• 4+ years with ecommerce environments (B2B required).
• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, project management tools and methodologies.
• Proven experience with problem solving and solution development.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with agile release train/scrum teams to deliver solutions.
• Proven experience in producing documentation including, requirements documents, flowcharts, wireframes, and other process diagrams.
• Proven ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
