Job Description:
The Driver is responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading food, beverages, and supplies from the catering facility to the aircraft. This role ensures timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and airport safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Transport catering products from the production facility to aircraft within the airport.
- Safely load and unload food, beverages, equipment, and service items.
- Verify that all deliveries match flight orders before dispatch and upon arrival.
- Operate specialized vehicles (such as high-roader trucks) in compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to strict schedules and coordinate with airport operations staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the vehicle and work areas.
- Follow all airport security procedures and food safety standards.
- Report any delays, damages, or discrepancies in deliveries or equipment.
- Assist with general logistics and support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL driver's license.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in food service or airport logistics.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
