Medical Billing Lead Bethesda MD Pay From: $24 per hour MUST: 2+ years of full cycle medical billing and revenue cycle experience Handling escalated patient billing issues and ensure resolutions Comfortable leading the billing team and training and coaching of staff Monitoring billing calls and performance of medical billers Providing support with Accounts Receivables, payment posting, rejected claims and coding Resolving billing issues and overseeing patients accounts, billing, follow up, adjustments and refunds Following up with patients on past due accounts and setting up payment plans Processing and posting payments Reconciling credit balances and ensure compliance Verify insurance eligibility and queue claims for billing Ability to identify opportunities to improve collections and to maximize revenue DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Billing Lead include but are not limited to the following: Handle escalated billing issues by phone and in writing Train and lead medical billing staff and oversee patient accounts Oversee all billing including A/R, Collections, payment posting, and coding Follow up on billing issues Monitor calls to review performance of medical billing staff Follow up with patients and past due accounts and handle collection calls Reconcile credit balances and confirm compliance Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
