Entry to Mid-Level Safety Coordinator Requisition Number: 2026-2960-01 S&ME is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time entry to mid-level Safety Coordinator to become part of our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team in one of our Region 3 locations (New Albany, Evansville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, or Lexington). As an entry- to mid-level Safety Coordinator, you will implement, evaluate, and sustain HSE improvement programs aimed at preventing occupational injuries and illnesses, minimizing environmental impacts, and mitigating operational hazards and risks across our locations. This role often involves working with all locations, managers, and staff within Region 3. Your Day-to-Day:
To be a successful HSE Coordinator, you should be able to work independently, provide quick response support for unplanned events, and be knowledgeable in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) or Human and Organizational Performance (HOP). Additionally, you should maintain safe personal practices and a clean driving record, and be capable of supporting project and safety teams within the organization. What You Bring:
