Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Career Development Specialist to join our Organizational Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing career development programs that align employee growth with organizational goals, ensuring that career paths are clear, attainable, and impactful for all team members. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of job analysis, and the ability to collaborate with leadership to create development opportunities that drive individual and company success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create Accurate and Effective Career Roadmaps:
- Conduct thorough job analysis to assess job requirements, skills, competencies, and future growth potential across various roles.
- Develop clear, structured career progression paths for employees at all levels, taking into account individual aspirations and organizational needs.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure career roadmaps are aligned with departmental objectives and future workforce requirements.

- Collaborate with other HR team members such as recruiting and compensation, to ensure alignment with overall HR and company practices

2. Align Employee Development with Organizational Needs:
- Work with organizational leadership to understand short- and long-term business objectives and incorporate them into career development programs.
- Design and implement training, mentoring, and coaching initiatives that support employee growth and skill development aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Analyze employee performance and potential to identify talent gaps, offering recommendations for growth and development opportunities.

3. Ensure the Right Career Paths Are Available for Employees:
- Create and maintain resources that guide employees through potential career growth opportunities within the organization.
- Develop and implement initiatives that encourage internal mobility, ensuring that employees have access to advancement and lateral move opportunities.
- Work with managers to promote awareness of career paths and create a culture of continuous learning and career development.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in career development, talent management, or organizational development, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of job analysis methods, competency modeling, and career pathing.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with employees and leadership at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess current organizational needs and develop impactful career development solutions.
- Familiarity with talent management software (UKG) and learning management systems (LMS).

- Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in executing programs.
