FTE: .01 Per Diem, Shift: Days, Schedule: 10 hour shifts

Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading and monitoring exercise sessions and providing exercise education to participants. Assists in the development, structure and implementation of therapeutic activities; this position works under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. This position requires a service oriented individual, the use the discretion and good judgment. Internal contacts include other participant services staff. External contacts are extensive with participants and may also include participant family and care givers.

Requirements

  • BA degree in either Physical Education or Exercise Physiology

  • CPR certification

  • Experience working in Adult Fitness or an equivalent internship preferred

  • Experience with geriatric and disabled adults preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.90 - $45.79 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
