The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Logistics Analyst II to provide support for our government customer in Herlong, CA.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
  • Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  • Analyze and develop logistics plans that affect inventory and distribution to maximize customer satisfaction and efficiency and minimize cost within standard supply chain management concepts and practices.
  • Maintain Theater Enterprise Wide Logistics System (TEWLS-AM) access and update data in TEWLS-AM as required.
  • Provide service support in medical acquisition, supply chain and logistics activities across the full spectrum of military health care worldwide and its operational forces during peacetime and wartime missions, to include, but not limited to: property inventory, medical acquisition logistics, medical set assembly management, medical materiel fielding, medical materiel retrograde, cold chain management, logistics assistance, strategic medical stock management, and technology assessments.
  • Assist the centrally managed medical logistics programs, Army SC VIII cataloging and coordinating set building, and assisting maintenance planning and operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical, administrative, editorial and graphics assistance, as necessary, for the purpose of preparing special reports; studies; analysis; and briefing papers on various financial, administrative, and business process matters related to overall activities and process management.
  • Tasks include conducting information searches; scientific, medical, financial, and technical writing; editing; graphics preparation; and report layout and production.
  • Provides data administration and archival records support.
  • Assist and/or provide technical mission guidance, various mission reports, conduct mission risk assessments, maintain deployability, in order to conduct mission operations.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Must have Highschool Diploma and five (5) years of experience or a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Medical Logistics field.
  • Must have the ability to successfully communicate using effective interpersonal and communication skills in addition to managing numerous efforts and effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking requirements that have a direct impact on the Program.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Army Medical Command logistics support experience is preferred

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must hold an Active Secret clearance.
