Chemical Operator

Responsibilities

• Train on Production operations in assigned plant. understand
• Learn various functions & responsibilities in assigned plant.
• Learn and use SAP system transactions that relate to production, inventory management and material movement.
• Assist Chemical Operators (Levels 1, 2 & 3s) in all phases of process equipment operation.
• Operate assigned production equipment & processes.
• Read batch sheets, standard operating procedures, and material safety data sheets and the importance of each.
• Learn proper chemical charging and sampling procedures.
• Follow operating instructions to produce a quality product.
• Use forklift frequently to move raw materials and finished goods

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Prior chemical plant or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
• Proficient math and reading comprehension skills with basic computer skills
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained
