Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to support and execute key Human Resources programs across the employee lifecycle. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to both employees and managers, helping to foster a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace environment. You will play a critical role in administering and enhancing HR processes related to employee relations, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This position reports directly to the HR Business Partner and requires an in-office presence at our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters. Therefore, candidates need to already be established within commutable distance and comfortable working in an office environment to be considered for the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR guidance and support
  • Develop and support employee engagement strategies, including feedback mechanisms, recognition initiatives, and culture-building programs to enhance employee experience and retention
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and personnel records
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation, in partnership with HR leadership
  • Coordinate performance management activities such as goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records; support reporting and audit requirements
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on new employee onboarding efforts
  • Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee communications
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and processes
  • Support cross-functional HR initiatives and projects as needed



Qualifications and Capabilities



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or similar role
  • Experience with UKG as an HRIS and payroll system strongly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude that contributes to a great workplace culture

The reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $72,000 - $95,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position may also be eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered will be based on a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to; geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, knowledge, skills/level, qualifications and budget.
