Job Objective:
Supervises all field operations, maintenance, and spare part inventory; monitors and maintains production records, testing of all wells, and compressors in assigned area; and supervises field operators and contract employees.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises daily production field by field.
  • Reviews, monitors, and maintains well reports and production records.
  • Monitors and maintains spare parts inventory.
  • Maintains production automation system.
  • Supervises wellhead work and station hook-ups.
  • Processes field invoices.
  • Supervises field operators and contract employees.
  • Assists production accounting group with allocations.
  • Monitors and maintains production and initiates solutions to problems.
  • Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
  • Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long-range operations studies, reports, and recommendations.
  • May be required to work multiple fields.
  • Aid in the supervision and prioritize dailytask for field wide maintenance crews.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises personnel and conducts employee performance evaluations.
  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years minimum experience in the operation of oil and gas production facilities or other related field.
  • Five (5) years minimum of demonstrated leadership experience and managing direct reports.
  • Ability to work established work schedule.
  • Working knowledge and mastery of mechanical oil and gas equipment.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems.
  • Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned territory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
  • Good management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following computer software:
    • Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid Driver's License
