The Lending Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of loan data that has been entered into our core system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review loans boarded to the system for completeness and accuracy
  • Compare data fields between closing documents and the core loan system
  • Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution with relevant business units
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control findings and corrections
  • Collaborate with other business units to uphold data standards
  • Support the team in maintaining compliance and operational standards
  • Assist management in maintaining compliance within the Bank's core processing system
  • Provide input relative to quality control
  • Ensure that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as attorney prepared documents, procedure manuals, and general business correspondence
  • Ability to write business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively speak and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees in the organization.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, trade journals, and legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries from associates and internal audit groups.

Education and Experience

* Computer Skills

* MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Database programs

* Previous banking experience preferred
