  • Develop and maintain structured test plans; coordinate end-to-end testing for patches, upgrades, and new functionality, and document results through resolution.

  • Partner with campus partners and functional SMEs to implement new processes and system capabilities, including developing change management strategies, training plans, and communication materials that support successful campus-wide adoption.

  • Coordinate with IT on technical integration projects-including authentication, SSO, and organizational data-and serve as the HR functional lead on cross-system initiatives involving vendors.

  • Translate business reporting needs into system-generated reports and analytics, leveraging HRIS reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) to support data-driven decision making; conduct research on Oracle analytics offerings and emerging reporting capabilities.

  • Partner closely with SMEs and stakeholders to document current HR processes-including workflows, decision points, dependencies, and procedural steps.Serve as the escalation point for troubleshooting complex system issues, researching root causes, ensuring timely resolutions, and initiating Service Requests with Oracle as needed.

  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies-including AI-driven testing, reporting, and self-service capabilities within Oracle HCM-to enhance system effectiveness, operational efficiency, and the overall HR technology roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HRIS administration, HR technology management, or HR operations; experience in higher education or a similarly decentralized environment is preferred.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting HR systems; Oracle HCM Cloud experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with recent platform features such as Redwood-based pages, Journeys, and reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher).

  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, data integrity principles, and security role configuration within HCM platforms, with the analytical skills to diagnose complex system issues and determine root causes.

  • Comfort working across a multi-system HR technology environment and collaborating with IT on integration, authentication, and cross-platform data needs, including integrations with adjacent systems such as background screening, employment verification, benefits, LMS, or applicant tracking platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management efforts, including supporting system adoption, training, and operational transitions across a broad organization.
