Department OverviewThe Maintenance Department is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, production systems, and production facility infrastructure. The department supports continuous production by minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining asset reliability, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for leading daily maintenance activities, providing technical guidance to maintenance technicians, and ensuring the reliability, safety and efficiency of equipment and manufacturing facility. This role serves as a hands-on technical leader who coordinates work, prioritizes tasks, and supports continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Serve as a primary technical resource for troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
  • Support and enforce safety policies, procedures and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EHS)
  • Train, mentor, and provide guidance to maintenance technicians
  • Assist in developing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with production, engineering and management teams to support operational goals
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation and spare parts usage
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Escalate critical issues and recommend corrective actions to management

Additonal Qualified Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC basics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor maintenance personnel (previous supervisory experience preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives

Target Base Salary Range: $59,500 - $90,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
