Join our team as a Resident Services Coordinator at Avenida del Sol and Ruby Vista Apartments!

Avenida del Sol and Ruby Vista are welcoming affordable housing communities where connection, support, and opportunity matter. Serving residents across two LIHTC communities (80 and 97 units), this role is perfect for someone passionate about helping individuals and families thrive. As a Resident Services Coordinator, you'll build meaningful relationships, connect residents with vital resources, and lead engaging programs that promote stability, independence, and overall well-being.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with residents, community partners, and service agencies to connect residents with valuable resources and support

  • Coordinate and host resident programming, workshops, and events that promote housing stability, skill development, and community engagement

  • Provide one-on-one support to residents, helping them access benefits, services, and community resources

  • Create monthly newsletters, event calendars, and communication materials to keep residents informed and engaged

  • Identify resident needs through conversations, surveys, and community interaction to guide programming and services

  • Collaborate with property management to address resident concerns and support a positive living environment

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with LIHTC resident services requirements and reporting

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in social services, case management, behavioral health, nonprofit work, or a related field

  • Ability to build trust and rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds

  • Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience coordinating programs, workshops, or community events is preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between communities and outreach

  • Ability to work a flexible weekday schedule with occasional evening or weekend events

  • Outgoing, personable, and community-focused approach to resident engagement

Compensation & Benefits

  • $26 - $29 per hour based on experience

  • Part-time schedule working 32 hours per week

  • Eligible for bonus opportunities

  • On-site role supporting residents at both Avenida del Sol and Ruby Vista communities
