The Job

A Senior Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that an organization complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies. They develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct audits and investigations, provide training to employees, and recommend corrective actions to address compliance issues. Senior Compliance Specialists also stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains in compliance.

You Will
Compliance Monitoring and Auditing: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure that the organization's operations and practices comply with legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards. Identify and investigate potential compliance violations, and recommend corrective actions to address any issues found. Develop and maintain audit plans and procedures to systematically monitor compliance across various departments.

Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in the development and revision of compliance policies and procedures to align with current regulations and best practices. Ensure that compliance policies are effectively communicated and understood by all relevant stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to departments in implementing and maintaining compliance policies.

Training and Education: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices. Develop educational materials and resources to enhance compliance awareness and understanding. Stay informed about new compliance trends and training methods to continuously improve the organization's compliance education efforts.

Your Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of related experience

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to interpret and apply them accurately in various business contexts.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify compliance risks and issues, and the ability to develop effective solutions and recommendations.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to clearly convey compliance requirements and findings, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent compliance practices.
