Summary of Objective: The Package Testing Engineer II supports PCI's mission to provide the industry leading experience to clients, developing and commercializing solutions to optimize the delivery of lifesaving medicines and support better health outcomes for patients around the world. Reporting to the Associate Director of Design, successful Package Testing Engineer II would utilize engineering skills and technical expertise to evaluate, develop, test, and qualify effective packaging systems for PCI's clients. Utilizing extensive packaging development knowledge, effective report writing and hands-on assembly skills, the Package Testing Engineer II would support PCI's Package Testing Services, commercial sales efforts as well as the successful commercialization of awarded packaging projects. In addition to the primary role for package testing, the incumbent would support package design and on-site package performance testing as needed. Package Testing Engineer II would lead workflows and reliability of on-site Package Testing Lab and manage projects with external partners. The Package Testing Engineer II would regularly engage clients, consultants, vendors and suppliers directly to aid in the successful design and implementation of new packaging systems and products. The base salary hiring range for this position is ($77,600 -$90,000) plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
