Responsible for ensuring that Mass General Brigham Health Plan's commercial line of business adheres to all applicable federal and state regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role manages regulatory submissions, supports audits and examinations, and partners with internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare laws, privacy requirements, and organizational policies impacting commercial products. The position plays a key role in maintaining regulatory readiness and promoting high standards of quality, compliance, and data protection across the organization.
Essential Functions -Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to healthcare delivery, accreditation, and member privacy. -Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices. -Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents and reports to governmental agencies and accrediting bodies. -Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. -Develop and implement action plans to address any compliance issues or deficiencies identified during audits. -Develop and deliver training programs for staff on regulatory requirements, compliance policies, and best practices.
