Job Summary:

The Systems Support & Training Specialist supports daily operations of the AssetWorks / FleetFocus system by assisting users, maintaining system functionality, and helping ensure accurate data entry and reporting. This role provides direct support to technicians, parts staff, supervisors, and other system users, helping them use the system effectively for maintenance, work orders, inventory, and asset management activities. This position reports directly to the Manager, GSE IT Systems.

Job Duties:

User Support:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Assest Works users and respond to help requests.

  • Assist in troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with the Manager, GSE IT Systems or AssetWorks support when needed.

  • Help maintain user accounts, security roles, and access permissions.

  • Support users with basic configuration or navigation assistance.

Training & User Assistance:

  • Assist in delivering training for new and existing users.

  • Help develop training materials, quick reference guides, and user documentation.

  • Provide one-on-one support and follow-up assistance to reinforce proper system use.

  • Help encourage consistent and accurate system usage across teams.

Process & System Support:

  • Support established business processes and system workflows as directed.

  • Assist in documenting procedures and user steps.

  • Help identify recurring user issues and report them to the Manager, GSE IT Systems.

Reporting & Data Support

  • Assist with generating standard reports and dashboards.

  • Support data quality efforts by helping review and validate system information.

  • Help with basic data cleanup and audits when required.

Data Updates & System Maintenance:

  • Perform routine data entry and updates in AssetWorks/FleetFocus to support accurate records for assets, work orders, PM schedules, and inventory.

  • Assist in maintaining asset master data, equipment details, and status changes.

  • Support entry and updates related to inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance requirements.

  • Help ensure data consistency by following established naming conventions, coding standards, and data entry procedures.

  • Assist with periodic audits and corrections to improve system accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 3 (three) to 5 (five) years related CMMS experience

  • Experience with AssetWorks/FleetFocus or similar fleet management / maintenance software.

  • Understanding of GSE fleet, maintenance, or asset management environments.

  • Experience providing technical or application support.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Experience supporting Ground Support Equipment (GSE), airport fleet operations, aviation maintenance environments, or transportation fleet operations.

  • Familiarity with aviation operational environments such as ramp operations, airline maintenance, or airport maintenance departments.

  • Exposure to preventive maintenance scheduling, work order management, inspections, and compliance tracking for vehicle or GSE fleets.

  • Experience working with fuel management systems, telematics, or equipment monitoring systems used in aviation or fleet operations.

  • Understanding of parts inventory processes, asset lifecycle tracking, and shop workflows specific to fleet or aviation maintenance environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to read and speak English language.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening.
