This role for be and onsite role - Full time Monday - Friday 8am to 5 pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and respond to Request for Quotes (RFQs) via email or telephone. Perform market research on new and existing products. Monitor quote activity and progression and provide customer updates as needed. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and capabilities. Completes sales order data entry, change orders, amendments, and other related documentation. Including: obtaining purchase order acknowledgments from suppliers. Assist sales and product management with reports and data and provide technical information as needed. Ability to work weekends (AOG rotation staff) Other duties may be assigned. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize data and trends clearly. Ability to establish and maintain relations with a wide range of vendors and customers. Computer skills -- General MS-Excel, Word and quantum preferred. Must speak, read and write English. Spanish is a plus. Ability to work in high paced environment where multi-tasking is a must. Education / Experience Requirements: No high school diploma or GED required. 1 year of experience in purchasing position(s) is preferred. Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Is frequently required to talk or listen. Is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel. Is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 30 pounds. Works in moderate noise levels. Minimal travel required.
