As a Security Officer Badge Screening in Boerne, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a unique community location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, guide visitors, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control duties, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contact when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
