Overview: We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to support our Immigration Department. This role is integral to a fast-paced, high-volume immigration practice and requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while adapting to evolving legal technology. The position supports attorneys and paralegals assisting individuals and businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system. Key Responsibilities: * Provide legal administrative support to immigration attorneys and paralegals across multiple case types * Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone and email, ensuring professional and timely communication * Manage heavy scheduling of internal meetings, client appointments, and government-related deadlines * Enter, maintain, and audit data in immigration case management systems, including docketing critical USCIS and agency deadlines and generating reports * Organize and maintain electronic client files in compliance with department naming conventions and firm standards * Accurately enter and reconcile information across multiple systems to support case preparation and filing * Prepare and finalize detailed immigration submissions for filing with U.S. immigration agencies * Process expense reimbursements and invoices with accuracy and timeliness * Learn and work efficiently within AI-enabled and technology-driven legal systems as workflows and tools evolve Qualifications * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume immigration practice * Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management skills * Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills * Comfort working with case management systems and learning new technology quickly * Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, process-driven environment * Cross-cultural communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting diverse immigrant populations, including professionals, investors, artists, skilled workers, and refugees Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe) is required. Two or more years of relevant legal or immigration administrative experience is preferred; a bachelor's degree is a plus but not required. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
