Position Summary	This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences ( CAES) Office of Information Technology ( OIT) and serves as Team Lead for web development for CAES and UGA Extension websites. While not responsible for managing employees, this position helps direct web development tasks and strategic goals. Common activities include managing projects, collaborating with stakeholders to set goals and expectations, developing accessible website themes, designs, and components, building layouts for high-profile sites, and partnering with digital marketers to promote and evaluate the effectiveness of our sites. The position provides leadership in the areas of website aesthetics and usability. The Team Lead is co-responsible for the quality of the work produced on their team, as measured by client/stakeholder feedback, accessibility ratings, and team productivity.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies	Experience developing in one or more web content management systems. Working knowledge of current web development standards. Working knowledge of web accessibility standards. Ability to provide client support in a positive, proactive manner. Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to client needs and departmental goals. Ability to estimate work and meet deadlines. Possess strong organizational skills. Ability to listen effectively and clearly communicate technical issues both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others in a team environment.

Duties/Responsibilities	Web development projects and strategic initiatives. Perform the technical and strategic aspects of web projects, including new site builds, redesigns, and feature enhancements.

Duties/Responsibilities	Lead web development operations. Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of web development work for CAES and UGA Extension websites. Establish team-wide standards, procedures, and processes to ensure consistency, maintainability, and scalability. Work with web team management and other team leads to align with broader OIT initiatives.

Duties/Responsibilities	Client-facing support and custom website implementations. This may include special websites for high-profile clients, custom dashboards for analytics, answering questions and providing support, and similar types of support.
