Security Officer - Mobile Driver

As a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the chance to work with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through appropriate site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Support order at the location by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post instructions, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
