As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activities, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through proper communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, vendors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or documentation as required, and follow post orders for restricted areas.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying supervisors, assisting with evacuation directions, and documenting security-related concerns observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
