Security Officer - Luxury Retail

As a Security Officer - Badge Issuance Desk in MC LEAN, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a high-end retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and support clear communication with store teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors; manage check-in and/or access credential processes in accordance with location guidelines.
• Monitor lobby activity and front desk systems such as cameras, alarms, phones, and radios; promptly report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting Allied Universal supervision and/or local responders when appropriate.
• Complete shift logs and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates to oncoming personnel and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
