Job Title: Software Engineer 3. Location: Austin, TX I. Description of services
- Client requires the services of 3 Software Engineer 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.
- All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Client will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Job Description
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Additional job details and special considerations
- These contractor roles are for Senior Java Developers, and the positions will work on the SCOR BAU EI parallel initiative.
- These roles will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java. Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model.
- Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.

- 8 Years Required: Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
- 8 Years Required: Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
- 8 Years Required: Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
- 8 Years Required: Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
- 8 Years Required: Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
- 8 Years Required: Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development
- 4 Years Preferred: Experience with Angular UI Framework
- 4 Years Preferred: Experience with Crystal Reports
- 4 Years Preferred: Experience with Power BI
