Job Title: Software Developer 3
Location: Austin, TX.
I. Description of services:
- Client requires the services of Software Developer 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.
- All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Client will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
- Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming work. Work involves planning, analyzing, scheduling, coordinating and implementing programming projects; as well as providing technical assistance.
- This includes analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing applications to support the various functional areas of the Texas Lottery & Charitable Bingo. Works in a manner that exemplifies and supports the agency's core values of integrity, responsibility, innovation, fiscal accountability, customer responsiveness, teamwork, and excellence.
Ii. Candidate skills and qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
- 8 Years Required: SQL or PL/SQL
- 8 Years Required: software version control experience
- 8 Years Required: developing and maintaining secure .NET public websites
- 8 Years Required: C#, ASP.NET (minimum 2 years .NET 8.0 and higher)
- 8 Years Required: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- 8 Years Required: developing system documentation
- 1 Year Preferred: Developing and maintaining Python batch scripts
- 1 Year Preferred: Experience with Agile methodology
- 1 Year Preferred: Experience with Syncfusion and Bold Reports for rich UI/UX development and reporting
- 1 Year Preferred: Experience integrating with Google and Apple authentication systems
- 1 Year Preferred: Experience with .NET LINQ (Language Integrated Query)
- 1 Year Preferred: Experience developing Java applications
- 1 Year Preferred: Knowledge of Charitable Bingo Rules and Regulations
- 1 Year Preferred: Knowledge of interfaces and data exchange standards between software applications
