Job Description:

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled RF Front End Module assembly technician to assist our engineering team in New Product development and assembly of engineering prototype builds. You will be working closely with the talented minds transforming technology with new ideas. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in programming, setup and operation of stencil screen printer, reflow oven, surface mount (FUJI NXTIII), auto die attach (Datacon), Molding (TOWA), marking and dicing saw (Disco).



Please note that the training schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm to start. Then when training is complete, the regular work schedule for this position going forward will be Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Will be responsible for setup, parameter optimization, process verification, and maintenance of assembly equipment's
  • Support setup and operation of FUJI SMT lines, Datacon die attach and Wire bond tools.
  • Create auto wire bond programs and loop profiles in K&S Maxum bonder.
  • Record and document parameters for repeatability and production readiness.
  • Perform manual die pick and placement using tweezers or pickup tools, epoxy / DAF attach on MCMs. The tasks are a combination of manual assembly and equipment operation, involve working with the aid of a microscope and tools for handling very small parts for prototyping.
  • Support customized build request, mount MCMs on evaluation boards by solder attach. Perform manual soldering, attach passive components, perform rework on boards, change components, mount dies, and wire bonding.
  • Candidate must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform assembly functions. Candidate must know how to interpret builds and BOM (Bill of Material).
  • Must be proficient using hand tools such as tweezers, picks, vacuum pencils.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed. Must have team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership.



Desired Experience and Skills


  • The candidate should have relevant experience in RF module assembly and hold either a bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of experience or an associate degree with at least four years of experience.

  • SMT, Die attach, manual die attach, wire bonding, moldng, soldering skills and printed circuit assembly experience. Trained to handle ESD sensitive electronic components, soldering and experience working with the aid of a microscope.
  • Experience with computers using Microsoft excel, word, power point, Microsoft outlook and autocad.
