Description:

Title:Licensed Therapist

Reports To:Executive Director

Role Type: Part-Time

Department/Location: 100% onsite position located at the Worcester, MA, Guidelight Clinic.

Hours:Monday-Friday 12p-4p

Setting: Adolescent IOP with ability to flex to other programming needs

Summary:

The Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.

Responsibilities:



  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.


Required Qualifications:



  • A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. (REQUIRED)
  • Valid state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Associate or Independent clinical licensure (LICSW or LMHC)
  • Background in Expressive Therapy modalities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Portuguese)


Pay Range
$35 $46 USD
