We're currently looking for a Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our team and lead quality operations at one of our Original Equipment (OE) tire mounting manufacturing facilities. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of wheel and tire assemblies in a fast-paced production environment focused on commercial and off-the-road applications.

What You'll Do:



  • Lead all quality-related activities within the OE tire mounting facility, ensuring finished wheel and tire assemblies meet customer specifications and internal standards
  • Establish and maintain quality processes that support accurate mounting, inflation, balancing, and assembly of commercial, agricultural, and off-the-road tire and wheel combinations
  • Monitor quality performance indicators such as defects, rework, scrap, and customer returns, using data to identify trends and drive improvements
  • Partner with production leadership to address quality concerns on the floor, implement corrective actions, and sustain process improvements
  • Oversee inspection processes for incoming components, in-process checks, and final product verification to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Manage customer and supplier quality issues, including investigation, documentation, and timely resolution to maintain strong customer relationships
  • Lead routine audits of work procedures, assembly methods, and operator practices to ensure adherence to defined standards
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing variation in mounting processes, improving assembly precision, and enhancing overall product durability and performance
  • Train and develop Quality Inspectors and production team members on proper inspection techniques, equipment usage, and quality expectations related to tire and wheel assembly
  • Collaborate with operations on new equipment, tooling, and process changes to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and achieved
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to quality standards, procedures, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company expectations within the facility



What You Need:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Quality, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, preferably within tire, wheel, automotive, or heavy industrial environments
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a quality function strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing quality principles, inspection methods, and continuous improvement practices such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience working with mechanical assemblies, preferably involving tires, wheels, or similar components
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, assembly requirements, and customer documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn company-specific systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to equipment and moving parts
