Certified Nurse Aide - Skilled Nursing Facility

The CNA provides hands-on patient and resident care, including hygiene and daily living support, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities follow NYS Practice Act, hospital policies, and NY Long Term Care Regulations. CNAs also assist with basic unit support tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities

• Support patient/resident mobility, comfort, and safety

• Document care per facility standards

• Assist nursing staff with routine nonclinical tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current NYS CNA certification

• Ability to read/write medical terminology

• Successful pre-employment screening & physical
