Job Description




Allied Universal is hiring a Compliance Manager - Federal. The Compliance Manager - Federal is responsible for implementing and managing compliance programs and processes for US Government (USG) contracts within the United States. Working with Executive Leadership and Legal Services, the Compliance Manager - Federal is responsible will support contractual and corporate compliance including the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Service Contract Act, System for Award Management, GSA schedule, federal reporting, records management, and subcontractor oversight, training, personnel compliance, ethics, privacy and safeguarding of sensitive information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Implement and oversee billing and payroll procedures and processes to ensure compliance with US Federal regulations and law
  • Serve as the alternate lead handling payroll and billing changes for federal contracts in all company systems
  • Ensure personnel compliance processes are implemented across all contracts, to include cataloging of all contract-required training and certifications, through utilization of available company compliance technologies
  • Work with members of the Federal Services team and Legal Department, interpret rules and regulations; analyze data and information; create innovative solutions to complex problems; synthesize facts, concepts, and principles; access and apply specialized knowledge
  • Engage contract managers, managing directors and other operational leaders to ensure all compliance related objectives and programs are implemented, followed, and reviewed
  • Identify lead indicators to determine where posts/missions may need further compliance support
  • Write and design compliance programs/forms
  • Ensure all new processes can be effectively operationalized and are implemented with efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain compliance audit records and produce report findings
  • Handle multiple demands as assigned of critical issues quickly and accurately; research, investigate, and compile information; motivate individuals and groups to submit needed back-up; design and implement action plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of AUS clients as a trusted liaison
  • Ensure all new processes can be effectively operationalized and are implemented with efficiency and effectiveness
  • Handle multiple demands as assigned of critical issues quickly and accurately; research, investigate, and compile information; motivate individuals and groups to submit needed back-up; design and implement action plans

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
    • High School diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of government contracting compliance experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of personnel and program management experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of government contracting experience - including, but not limited to: response to solicitations, federal procurement processes, contract compliance, auditing, and service delivery
  • Experience reading, understanding, and implementing contracts and contract provisions
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Pay Rate: $70,000 to $85,000 per year
  • Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance
  • Eligibility for our retirement plans
  • Enrollment in our company's 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements
  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
