The US Public Sector team for Industrial IoT is part of Team Rocketship, with an impressive eight consecutive quarters of growth. The Sales Leader serves a critical leadership role for this team of IIoT Account Executives across the United States selling to and serving our SLED and Federal customers. Your ImpactWe are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our Industrial IoT team, specializing in embedded networking products. This role focuses on driving sales growth within federal and industrial sectors, leveraging expertise in embedded solutions and industrial IoT technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with federal customers, understand the unique requirements of industrial environments, and possess strong knowledge of Cisco's embedded product portfolio. You will develop and execute sales strategies for Cisco's Industrial IoT embedded networking products, including routers, switches, and security solutions designed for harsh, mission-critical environments. You will engage with federal government customers and contractors to understand their needs and compliance requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver tailored solutions addressing challenges like secure connectivity, asset visibility, and operational technology (OT) security. You will drive adoption of Cisco's ruggedized, open-standard embedded products for industrial and defense applications. Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, you will ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships. You will stay current on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and Cisco's Industrial IoT portfolio, supporting federal sales initiatives by following government procurement and security protocols. For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $287,300.00 - $423,200.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $263,500.00 - $404,100.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements. | |
