DEPARTMENT OF FLEET AND FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Number of Positions: 1
(Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval)
Starting Annual Salary: B09, $47,364.00/year

This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

The Department of Fleet and Facility Management is seeking a Senior Office Assistant to perform a variety of complex office assistant duties to support department operations and perform related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Process and review invoices, VEFs, and receipts
* Reconcile accounts and prepares electronic filing
* Prepare manual files and any other clerical duties as assigned
* Provides customer service
* Utilizes Microsoft Excel/Word to perform duties.

Additional duties may be required for this position.

Location: 210 W 69TH STREET, CHICAGO, IL
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM

Qualifications

One (1) year of clerical or office assistant work experience
Should the above criteria not be fulfilled, the following options are acceptable:
o A diploma or a certificate of completion form a vocational or business education program in Office Administration
o Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree or higher

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include an assessment at the time of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.
