Sr Business Process Analyst - Remote

As a Sr. Business Process Analyst, you'll drive vital projects that have strategic importance to make that mission a reality. You'll use your sharp business skills to assist in creating, controlling and improving business processes.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in program kickoff meetings & solutioning sessions
  • Facilitate meetings to collect, analyze, and document current business processes
  • Perform project impact analysis based on business needs
  • Translate enterprise features & high-level business needs into requirements
  • Document information needed to define business requirements as user stories and features
  • Engage requirements holders to ensure business requirements are clear, concise & complete
  • Develop business use cases & scenarios to be used in UAT
  • Perform business validations against requirements
  • Enable information-sharing between business and IT
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships with internal and external partners
  • Support all phases of agile software development to include initiation, design, development and testing
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development and go live dates
  • Apply business knowledge and sound judgment to develop business timelines
  • Support a team-oriented work climate that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions and strategies, establishes collaboration and emphasizes quality and cost effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience gathering & documenting business requirements
  • Experience in working on large-scale technology projects with multiple integrated platforms
  • Experience working in Agile and SDLC
  • Currently employed by UHG or are currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving skills with ability to grasp new ideas and concepts
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
