Summary of Job Duties:Are you passionate about improving maternal health and making a difference in the lives of women and infants across Arkansas? Join the Arkansas Center for Women and Infant Health (ACWIH) as a Project Coordinator to support grant-funded program communications, implementation, and administrative functions. This role is instrumental in coordinating outreach activities, developing and disseminating program materials, and managing grant-related administrative tasks, including procurement, travel tracking, and documentation, to ensure compliance with funder requirements aimed at enhancing provider capacity and improving outcomes for women and infants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in health, business, or related field plus three (3) years of project coordination or administrative support experience.

OR

  • HS Diploma plus seven (7) years of project coordination or administrative support experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Grant operations and maternal/infant health initiatives: Understanding grant structure, compliance, and supporting programs aimed at improving women's and infants' health outcomes aligned with ACWIH goals.
  • Outreach strategies and coordination skills: Designing targeted approaches to engage priority populations and planning/executing campaigns, events, and training sessions.
  • Administrative processes: Managing procurement, travel tracking, documentation, and other tasks to ensure program efficiency.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail: Managing multiple responsibilities, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in communications and outputs.
  • Communication and data tracking/reporting: Crafting clear, audience-appropriate messages and monitoring program activities, metrics, and travel for performance evaluation.
  • Collaboration and task alignment: Working effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure all work supports grant objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop program materials: Creating newsletters, presentations, reports, and educational content to support program goals.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving: Flexibility for travel/non-standard hours and proposing solutions to address operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Coordination & Outreach

  • Lead content development and dissemination for grant-related outreach and engagement activities, including digital communications and stakeholder-facing materials that support program objectives.
  • Coordinate outreach campaigns to increase awareness, participation, and utilization of grant-funded services among priority populations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure outreach materials, messaging, and timelines align with grant deliverables and branding requirements.
  • Support development of newsletters, presentations, reports, and educational materials used to communicate grant progress, outcomes, and impact.
  • Track outreach activities and engagement metrics to support performance monitoring and required grant reporting.

Program Implementation & Grant Administration

  • Coordinate grant-related activities, events, trainings, and community-facing initiatives to ensure timely and compliant execution of workplans.
  • Procure, track, and manage grant-funded supplies, materials, and resources necessary for program implementation, in accordance with grant and institutional policies.
  • Track program-related travel, including documentation of purpose and alignment with grant objectives, to support monitoring, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Support data collection, documentation, and reporting activities required by funders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify implementation challenges and operational needs related to grant activities and elevate them to program leadership with proposed solutions.

Other Programmatic Responsibilities

  • Provide programmatic support across ACWIH initiatives as needed to advance grant goals related to maternal and infant health.
  • Occasional statewide travel; evening or weekend work may be required to support grant-related activities.
