The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of products manufactured in a Class 100 cleanroom and warehouse environment. This role ensures products meet established quality standards and customer requirements by using precision hand tools, documenting inspection results, photographing products, and packaging items according to controlled procedures. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, works well with hands-on tasks, and is comfortable following strict cleanliness and documentation standards. Prior inspection experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of products according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Use precision hand tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to measure critical dimensions.
  • Verify product quality, function, and performance through standardized test methods.
  • Conduct visual inspections for defects.
  • Record inspection data accurately in paper or electronic systems.
  • Identify and tag nonconforming material; communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Work full-time within a Class 100 cleanroom environment following all gowning and contamination control procedures.
  • Package inspected products according to controlled procedures and quality standards.
  • Communicate clearly with production, engineering, and quality teams regarding inspection results.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process control.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on measurements and handling small components.
  • Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment (gowning required).
  • Basic computer literacy for recording data and documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (not required)

  • Experience in a cleanroom, manufacturing, or quality assurance environment.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
  • Experience with product testing or inspection activities.
