POSITION SUMMARY The General Maintenance Worker for Dismas Charities is responsible for ensuring the safe, functional, and well-maintained operation of the centers and the corporate office. This role balances hands-on technical repairs with preventive maintenance and corporate reporting to ensure facility standards and compliance are met across all locations. Shift Schedule: Full-Time. 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

QUALIFICATIONS /REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. The employee must be able to climb ladders safely, work at elevated heights, and maintain the physical stamina to operate heavy machinery and outdoor equipment. ESSENTIAL POSITION This position is considered an "essential position" (as defined by the United States Department of Homeland Security) and is a position that cannot be completed via telecommuting. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is exposed to both indoor and outdoor environments.
