Scope of Position

This highly motivated individual, as part of the Sales Team, will be responsible for overseeing project startup, commissioning, and aftermarket activities for Taft Engineering and Watts Applied Solutions. This position builds strong relationships with contractors, service providers, and end users, ensuring successful installation and operation of all supplied equipment while supporting market growth.

This position is responsible for supervision of the sales support team.

This position reports to VP of Aftermarket Sales & Support. This role is onsite and based in Colorado

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to support sustained revenue growth.
  • Oversee inventory control across both Taft Engineering locations, maintaining accurate records including change logs, preferred vendors, and market pricing.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to secure competitive pricing and reliable sourcing.
  • Own all warranty transactions, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-focused resolution.
  • Coordinate logistics for all aftermarket activity, including major equipment shipments and related scheduling.
  • Train and support the aftermarket sales team on parts sales, vendor portals, and customer engagement, while assisting with daily inquiries as needed.
  • Partner closely with the service team to ensure effective scheduling and material readiness.
  • Track and share customer satisfaction metrics, communicating insights clearly with support and customer service teams.
  • Stay current on product updates, market trends, and competitive activity, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Monitor and manage expenses to align with budget requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5-10 years minimum technical, customer service and managementexperience
  • Local knowledge and experience with commercial customer base.
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with relevant business systems and general computer applications.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to pass background checks and any required preemployment testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management within a technical, manufacturing, field service, or water technology environment.
  • Prior experience guiding multisite operations or customer-facing field service teams.
  • Strong presentation, coaching, and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Additional industry certifications or technical credentials.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the Colorado location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

  • Onsite role at a manufacturing facility, primarily officebased.
  • Occasional presence on the manufacturing floor requiring PPE.
  • Monday-Friday schedule.
  • Minimal noise levels in office environment.
  • Required use of safety glasses and other PPE when on the shop floor.

Pay Range:

The expected salary range for this position is $68K- $81 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
