Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; Patient Service Representative - Surgical & Wound Care The Patient Service Representative (PSR) serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in the Surgical and Wound Care practice in Damariscotta. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that support daily clinic operations. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, collecting co-payments, and ensuring accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system. The PSR works closely with providers, clinical staff, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient experience while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment while providing compassionate service to patients and families.
