Compensation

$26.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Marketing Intern is responsible for tasks and projects related to media organization, capturing media content, and putting together creative works to help drive the branding and image of Sully-Miller Contracting Co.

Main Responsibilities
  • Organize and categorize digital media assets using tagging, such as subject matter, event, department, and date to ensure efficient retrieval
  • Develop and maintain a consistent, userfriendly folder structure to enhance accessibility of visual and digital content
  • Ensure all media assets comply with established brand standards and visual identity guidelines
  • Design marketing materials including advertisements, flyers, presentations, and other creative assets as needed
  • Capture highquality photography and videography at job sites and company events to support marketing initiatives
  • Assist in the planning, creation, and production of the company's biannual newsletter
  • Update, curate, and maintain content displayed on office monitors and internal screens
  • Support social media efforts through content creation, copywriting, scheduling, and engagement tracking
  • Collaborate with team members on various marketing and communications projects
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Work Experience
  • Must be actively working towards a college degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications
Skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpaced, projectdriven environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Understanding of how media is utilized across digital platforms, internal communications, and marketing materials
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining highquality work
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and videoediting software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require
  • Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch should the need arise
  • Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday
  • Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction
