Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated MSP NOC Analyst to join our security business unit. The MSP NOC Analystmonitors and supports enterprise network infrastructure within the Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. This role is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating network and system issues to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of network services. The MSP NOC Analyst serves as the first point of contact for network incidents and alerts, performing initial diagnostics and coordinating with internal technical teams to resolve issues affecting business operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Network Monitoring



  • Analyze alerts of network infrastructure, from multiple platforms using network monitoring tools.
  • Identify and respond to alerts related to outages, performance degradation, and system failures.
  • Track system performance and availability to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).


Incident Management



  • Respond to network incidents and service disruptions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and diagnostic activities.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to engineering when necessary.


Ticketing and Documentation



  • Create, update, and track incident tickets in the service management system.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Communicate status updates to internal stakeholders as required.


Operational Support



  • Review SOPS for accuracy and update as necessary
  • Assist with routine network maintenance activities and system checks.
  • Follow operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and scheduled maintenance windows.


Communication



  • Coordinate with IT operations, network engineering, and service desk teams.
  • Provide timely updates during outages or performance issues.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication during incident response activities.


Basic Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma
  • 0-3 years of IT operations, help desk, or networking experience
  • Exposure to network monitoring or IT infrastructure support preferred
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking and LAN/WAN environments
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and incident management systems


Preferred Qualifications:




  • Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field



  • MSP tools. i.e. Auvik, DatoRMN, Autotask, IT Spaceglue
