Summary
Responsible for managing the recruitment, engagement, and retention of contingent nursing and allied staff to meet fluctuating staffing needs. Oversees the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies to build a pipeline of qualified contingent nursing professionals. Collaborates with nursing and allied leadership and human resources to ensure contingent staffing aligns with clinical requirements and operational goals. Essential Functions -Develops and executes strategies for recruiting and onboarding contingent nursing and allied staff to meet short-term and long-term staffing needs. -Collaborates with nursing and allied leaders and HR to assess staffing requirements and ensure the right talent is sourced to meet demand. -Manages the performance and engagement of contingent nursing staff, including handling scheduling, compliance, and credentialing. -Builds and maintains a pipeline of qualified nursing candidates through job fairs, networking, and partnerships with nursing schools and staffing agencies. -Oversees contingent staff contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. -Monitors staffing trends and adjusts recruitment strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective staffing solutions. -Fosters a positive working environment for contingent nurses/allied staff, ensuring proper integration and communication with permanent nursing staff. -Evaluates contingent nursing and allied staff performance and provides feedback for continuous improvement.
