You're an experienced audit professional who excels in risk-based auditing, regulatory interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and confident serving as a subject matter expert to business partners, regulators, and auditors. You communicate clearly, manage complex audit engagements, and thrive in a fastpaced, continually evolving environment. About the Role

The Senior Internal Auditor serves as a key member of the Risk Management team, contributing to operational, compliance, and financial audit programs across the Bank. This role develops and executes riskbased audit plans, leads closing meetings, and partners with business units to strengthen internal controls. The position also serves as the Company's ICFR liaison and provides essential support for regulatory exams, external audits, and first and secondline monitoring functions. You will maintain oversight of the audit findings database and support remediation tracking, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

What You'll Do



  • Create and implement riskbased audit programs.
  • Ensure timely testing and reporting aligned with audit risk assessments.
  • Conduct and oversee audits of operational areas including accounting, lending, bank operations, and trust.
  • Lead audit closing meetings and communicate findings to management.
  • Provide reports and documentation for regulatory exams, external audits, and internal committees.
  • Oversee audit remediation tracking and manage the Company's findings database.
  • Support development and maintenance of internal controls to mitigate compliance, regulatory, and operational risks.
  • Serve as liaison for ICFR and assist with external audit coordination.
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and audit standards.
  • Mentor compliance and audit staff as assigned.



What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (required).
  • 7-10 years of bank operations and internal audit experience (required).
  • Experience managing bank compliance functions (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; FIS, NContracts, or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and projectmanagement skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and legal documents.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong leadership capability with ability to mentor others.
  • Professional certifications such as CRCM, CFE, CPA, or CIA (preferred).
