We are looking for an expert in user experience research to lead moderately complex projects with autonomy, transforming insights into actionable strategies. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in advocating for user-centric thinking, collaborating with cross-functional partners to overcome challenges, and driving the creation of inclusive products that resonate deeply with diverse user needs. Your work will not only define product direction but also elevate the practice of research within the organization, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

**What you'll do:**

* Propose and champion product and service improvements through research-driven insights and recommendations.

* Drive user-centric thinking to collaboratively resolve strategic, product, or technological constraints.

* Advocate for and implement inclusive research and design practices to promote the creation of inclusive products.

* Guide product strategy by analyzing, consolidating, and synthesizing user, product, service, and business needs.

* Create and communicate compelling research findings, insights, and recommendations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both user and business objectives.

* Partner with cross-functional teams to amplify the impact and visibility of research outcomes.

* Identify, create, and effectively utilize key insights and metrics to evaluate product, service, and ecosystem impact.

* Leverage a broad and deep understanding of business goals, the product ecosystem, user trends, and industry insights to inform research-driven, user-centric decision-making.

* Contribute to developing project priorities aligned with larger goals and coordinate resource allocation within projects.

* Actively seek opportunities to expand responsibilities within and beyond the product team, anticipating and removing potential roadblocks.

* Conduct research to identify user needs and business opportunities, guiding product and business goals with empathy and comprehensive understanding.

* Perform research that cultivates user empathy and informs a shared user-centric vision and strategy with cross-functional partners.

* Anticipate evolving user needs and research opportunities by adapting research strategies for complex projects or programs.

* Drive and execute comprehensive analysis for complex research projects, including defining qualitative or quantitative frameworks and developing surveys that define strategic priorities.

* Build consensus and influence teams to gain support for research-based, user-centric solutions.

* Communicate research insights and recommendations to partners and stakeholders, effectively addressing and anticipating challenges.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 5 years of experience in an applied research setting or similar environment.

* Proven experience with research design utilizing various methods, such as usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys.

* Relevant product research experience, encompassing end-to-end, usability, or generative research settings.

* Proficiency in interactive technology.

* Expertise in ethical UX research practices.

* Strong command of UX research methodology.

* Understanding of the product development lifecycle.

* Knowledge of human/user behavior.

* Ability to effectively use UX storytelling to communicate insights.

* Familiarity with research processes.

* Competence in UX systems thinking.
