What You Will Do
* Inspect glass for defects. * Pack glass according to specifications for shipment. * Ensure quality production to meet customers specifications. * Complete required quality/production paperwork. * Maintain line cleanliness, sweeping and shoveling glass, proper storage of tools, and emptying trash. * Report unsafe equipment and/or conditions. * Maintain operations at the highest standards set forth by Vitro's customers, production, and quality departments. * What We Offer * $18.68 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 shift differential (nights) * Every other weekend off. 12-hour shifts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, SAFETY and WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Performs duties within normal industrial environmental conditions, may encounter extreme heat or cold working conditions. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear, and speak. * Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. * Associate must always follow posted security procedures while in the building. * Must follow all PPE requirements. | |
